Description
Shamrock Sports & Entertainment has hired NEMA to help promote all local events, including Carnaval ME and Live + Work in Maine Open (Korn Ferry Tour Tournament to be held at Falmouth Country Club in 2021).
The inaugural Carnaval ME event was a huge success due, in part, to the efforts of a strategic and aggressive PR campaign that garnered earned media exposure in Maine but also in Boston, creating an economic impact for the region during a time when it is traditionally a slow season for hotels and restaurants.
An estimated audience of over 10,000 people, many from out of state, enjoyed both ticketed and free Carnaval ME events and experiences. Festivities included, but were not limited to, the Maine Bicentennial Snow Ball and Bites & Brews, which took place under a 350+ person inflatable igloo; Sunday River learn-to-ski and USASA Rail Jam; Maine Beer Box, food truck village, LIVE performances and mascot appearances including special guest Bonhomme from Carnaval de Quebec.
